It seems possible that everyone who loves chocolate loves chocolate mousse. I have to admit, I haven’t made traditional mousse often simply because there is such a lot of ingredients and fuss. This recipe delivers all the rich and sinful nature of the original with a fraction of the ingredients and a lot less bother.
I like to spoon mine into martini glasses, but you can eat this wonderful dessert any way that makes you happy. It’s delicious, healthy, but not particularly light.
Makes four servings.
Ingredients
1 cup ripe avocado
1/2 cup dark cocoa powder
1/4 cup sugar, or equivalent of other type of sweetener
6 tblsp milk (nut or cow)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
Add all ingredients to the work bowl of a food processor or high speed blender. Blend well on high. Enjoy!
